My cousin just got arrested recently for, among other things, possession of marijuana. He refused to piss in the cup so they stuck a needle in him and took his blood for a test.

Ive herd they can also sample it from your hair (if smoke gets in it) but i dont know if they can justify proving someone guilty if their was some in someones strain of hair, because you could be like: "I was at a concert and this guy next to me was smoking a joint with his buds".. something like that.

It doesn't do a test to determine whether or not smoke "gets in it". It tests the THC content of you body. The hair follicle test is probably the most accurate, but it is also the most expensive, which is why it is hardly ever used.

They can also do a cotton swab inside your mouth to test for THC. I have had this done for a job, but it wasn't very accurate because I came up clean(I assure you, I wasn't clean).

I thought the THC was only in your circlutory system for as long as youw ere under the effects of it. Becasue thats when it is going to your brain through your blood vessels and thats when you feel high, so if it oculd be detected in your blood a week after you smoked, wouldnt that mean you would be high for a week after you smoked?

THC can stay in your system for 45 days, maybe even more. It all depends on the amount of weed you smoke.

No, its not that exactally, what happens when you smoke, the endorphins which is this hormone produced from the THC bind and fill in these gapish things (cant remember the name) in your brain, which basically soffacates your brain in a way which produces the euphoric effect which is gives you your high or being stoned. These stay in place for that hour or two that your high and break apart which is when you sober up. That dosent get rid of all the TCH in your blood stream and urine however. Like others have said, it can remain in your body for over a month at the minimum.

thats not going to hold true though. whiles one nice fat J could conceivably stay in your system for a month, its most likely shorter. and when its 5 Js in one day, is that 5 months according to your logic..?

Cause I also smoked 2 days prior to that thing and passed haha
