Lost in warmth,
a gentle touch
wakes me to reality.
And I am in his arms.
I can hear his heart beat,
I can feel hom breath,
I can touch his skin with mine.
This must be a dream,
but please don't wake me.
In the circle of his embrace
I am calm.
There is no pressure,
no anticipation of what is to come.
Relaxed upon his chest,
I contemplate this moment,
not daring to move or speak,
afraid I'll break this fragile spell.
But our time is short,
and too soon he must leave,
so we say our goodbyes.
I want to kiss him,
to taste his lips before he goes,
but, somehow,
it seems too soon.
So I wait,
'til next time.
a gentle touch
wakes me to reality.
And I am in his arms.
I can hear his heart beat,
I can feel hom breath,
I can touch his skin with mine.
This must be a dream,
but please don't wake me.
In the circle of his embrace
I am calm.
There is no pressure,
no anticipation of what is to come.
Relaxed upon his chest,
I contemplate this moment,
not daring to move or speak,
afraid I'll break this fragile spell.
But our time is short,
and too soon he must leave,
so we say our goodbyes.
I want to kiss him,
to taste his lips before he goes,
