Hey guys,
Well I've decided to hit the road. I'm heading to Vancouver B.C in mid August and from there its to the island for a while, or possibly straight to San Fransisico. I'm travelling alone, just me and my backpack, which will be fun but maybe a bit strange. I need some advice on what I should bring for essentials (trying to pack light here), good squatting places in and around San Fran, ways to make some under the table cash if need be, places to check out and meet people, possible Christian hang outs, anything that might be helpful would be very valued...

Hun why on your own? Why won't you just get a job and stay somewhere? It's not good to be just backpacking. Look , I knew what it was like. Im younger than you as well, but at age 15 I wanted to just hit the road. Now im a million dollar company owner with Weather/Tornado Chasing, and an Author of my book, "The National Rocket Base.", and upcoming "Precious Life" Don't quit and leave now. KIT, I help people in your situation out. I actually took a homeless person out to lunch before, then to a car dealership to buy him a nice vehicle. Most of them turn out getting jobs, and making it completely in life. One of them is now a manager at a denny's after attending college that I put him through. I'll never forget him. Alan Perch is one of a kind. He states that if it wasn't for me and my boost, he wouldn't be living today. Bless him

yikes! Thx for the advice, but I'm not planning on being on the road forever. I work at a homeless shelter and know what the homeless life is all about. I make different choices than the people I deal with on a daily basis. I've been at my job for almost two years and I just really need to see some things for myself and meet some new people. I need some newness and adventure. I guess you just dont understand...
