I think the government watches us through our TVs, like those telescreens in the book 1984. The TV has another purpose though... to brainwash us through advertising and subliminal messages.

I wouldn't doubt that they make fly-camera thingies too, like Moose mentioned.

You know what freaks me out... about someone watching me... its all the magazines and newspapers... all those pictures and all those eyes... just watching... watching... watching..... staring back at you... never even blinking....

Geezuz... when I was a kid and had to go to the dunny... that's a toilet to you who don't know... well... my parents used to have all these old newspapers and magazines there... and before I took my knickers down and all that... I would always make sure I covered all their faces coz I used to think they were all looking at me... laughing... yes... laughing their guts up...

And I still do that out of habit.... but I also suspect I never really outgrew that feeling of having pictures of people look at me knowing what I'm doing....

ehhh i always got someone over my shoulder anyways so i gave up on being paranoid. butcha know the army has cameras on sattelites that can zoom in anywhere in the world and look close enuff to see nosehair and plaque on teeth........

Thank God I don't have nasal hair or teeth then eh? Can they see me in the dark? You know....when I'm err....alone? Well I'm never really alone I got a dog what with being a farming type person. Can they see that? Huh? God I hope not.

I do that as well but it doesn't make me a voyeur....does it? OMG! Maybe I am? Oh God I gotta re-think my whole approach to life. Why should I be staring at topless women on the beach? Yes, i do believe that sumone is trying to watch over us BUT im pretty sure that they aren't doing it by using cameras and other manipulative bullshit like that.

i bet they watch us. but humans couldnt do it. it must be a super-intelligent AI that can process it all in a split second and actually tell when people are going against the government.


EDIT: I create this message as an addition to my earlier post concerning an extremely intelligent computer that could be used for espionage purposes. After rethinking this theory I have concluded that the United States government would not participate in acts of espionage focused on it's citizens. The government definately does NOT have a computer that can do things such as editing message board posts. My theory was invalid.

In fact, I think we should all agree that this discussion is invalid, and we should end it now. I also think we should petition to have this website and discussion forum removed from the internet. It is a danger to society.

that bothers me too.. i always try to rationalize it by thinking that it must be a telemarketer or something and like maybe they're away from their desk and their little dialer just automatically went to the next number on the list, and thats why no one says anything... but im never able to really convince myself of that.. i always think that it's someone spying on me, or stalking me (yeah right, who would stalk me? lol) and instead of heavy breathing, they get off on me saying "Hello?" over and over like a moron..

oh, and the whole cameras in the bathroom mirrors.. that freaks me out.. i dont have that fear in the house that i live in now, but at my old house, we had a full length mirror on the bathroom door, and the tub was right across from it.. and since our bathroom over there was creepy anyway, and kind of dark, and we had two shower curtains - a pretty one on the outside and a clearliner on the inside, i'd leave the outside curtain pushed back and just used the clear one so i could see what i was doing... anyways, i was convinced that there was a camera behind the mirror.. and since it was right across from the tub, i was convinced that someone was like watching me shower..

and at night, i'll feel like there's someone watching me through my bedroom windows.. see, i dont have curtains, just mini-blinds, and i used to open them or pull them up all the way during the day because my walls are dark red, and i wanted to let some sunlight in.. and i'd usually forget to close them.. and then i started to feel like i was being watched.. not by people, but like spirits or something.. so now i keep them closed all the time.
