Though I loved a thousand times,
still my heart holds room for you.
And now in my mind, I see your smile,
and taste your tender kiss.
Lying in another's arms,
I think of all we were;
the time we lost on moonlit nights,
walking in the sand-
drinking wine from the bottle,
to celebrate a moment
no one cared about but us-
talking hours in the darkness,
endless debates on everything-
holding you close and
praying you'd never leave me.
A tear rolls down,
touches the arm beneath me.
"Are you alright?"
he whispers in my ear.
I sigh, a small, sad sound,
and knowing that he'll understand,
I tell him the truth-
"No. For though I've loved a thousand times,
I'll never forget the love I've lost."
still my heart holds room for you.
And now in my mind, I see your smile,
and taste your tender kiss.
Lying in another's arms,
I think of all we were;
the time we lost on moonlit nights,
walking in the sand-
drinking wine from the bottle,

praying you'd never leave me.
