I'm a current cancer patient in Florida and I go through a different type of treatment besides chemo. I take pills for my cancer and personally I think they have a less "harsh" effect on a person than chemo, but I still get side effects.
Anyway, when I heard that some people who go through chemo or are in pain in some way would sometimes be prescribed medicinal marijuana, I became interested in the subject. However, being in Florida, I found out that medicinal marijuana isn't a option I have.
What I want to know is; well, it's actually two things I want to know:
1) Is there any chance that there will be medicinal marijuana in Florida in the near future?
And 2) Are there any legal substitutions to marijuana?
