as for myself, I intend them clear and wash them in water...
then add up to three intentions...
they are already living beings and so have a charge
it is just a matter of changing the frequency with an intention.
I enjoyed what the article shared about leaving them in the sun...
that is a great way for many things to change to a more vital
and positive frequency. I know after a few days of rain I feel alot
more inner and slow moving.

Well the last week it's been really hard for me to maintain a bead on any given thought, so I have been gently exploring my environment and first noticed the moon. For some reason I am very sensitive to it but before it's only been durring the full moon and the dark quarter, each having different pronounced affects. Usually once I single out what those affects are concious attention can help me to rise up out of reacting to it like sea foam riding the waves of it's energy. Then it is just a matter of riding it out.

When that helped a little but I was still noticing stress on a different level my attention was drawn to my window sill, where three weeks ago I had added two new crystals to the line up. I live in a very controled environment and have been working for years to find the causes for what used to be an unnameable source of irritability that would manifest into anger with no apparent source. Before the new additions had lived on the sill in the living room, but it seems now having the three lined up they radiated a more powerful energy and not programmed with any intent it seems they just did their own thing.

My rocks have never ganged up on me, and i was really suprised when I separated the crystals again to feel a difference in my head and the way I think.

All this is new to me you know, I never believed anything about crystals and healing energy and dismissed it all as imaginations run amuk. But as we walk further down this path and I open to more posibilities...it is kinda impossible to shrug off any more.

my stepfather has always used salt for his..he would completely bury them in a bowl of sea salt or regular salt and leave them there for a day or so....

i remember being a teenager and seeing this and thinking, woo mama, my stepdad is a freakin wacko....hahaha...it was such non-conventional thinking, you know? but i have found more and more through my years i seek his ideas on things.
you know you could burn some sage in your home to clear things out too? i have really truly noticed the difference this practice has made...and well, i know i am different, but i really enjoy the smell of it burning:)

When we first moved in here Aireal suggested I do that so I ordered some from gypsy rose but they were out and I never got around to it again as I was consumed with the painting and general nesting activities and it slipped my mind.


Would'nt be a bad idea though. My light bulbs keep popping when I walk into a room too. It's getting to where I have to keep extra bulbs on hand all the time. I've got electrical issues, lol.

Could be the time has come to try investing in some sage again...

You know what, when I moved the two crystals, the complexity of my dreams changed too.

It's really hard to describe because it is a feeling and a visual/auditory/touch sensation that is affected. With just the one crystal my dreams were simple and clear and I woke up remembering things that were said and done like it was yesterday and really happened. With the three it's like the dreams were just as vivid but there were more undercurrents of meaning that were really slippery try to hold it and it was gone and I went back to dreams I hav'nt had for years and saw them from different perspectives...it's weird being in the same hotel but on a different floor. Thinking you were some where new and then recognising the pool...I thought about you guys as i was opening up the sliding doors to the lush deck and exclaiming to RIch waht a nice room this was, and asked for the camera so i could take a picture to post. (That's when I realised I'd been there before and things changed...I was actually trying to get the group I was with to do aside trip so I could go to the Village house:) to see Aireal)

BUt I did'nt have the same level of recall so it is back to square one with training myself to remember dreams after I 'wake up'. IT's like trying to hold flowing water...

Crystals are fun...and last night I realised when something is confusing (like the vibes I was getting ) it is just a Challenge asking to be understood. So I'll move them back in by the bed tonight. Don't know why I keep forgetting that. I guess it is not natural to not be motivated by fear or apprehension. It was so essential in keeping us safe durring our early development.
I get confused alot:p

The way I was taught to energise my crystals is to place them in a jar or pure water and sea salt then I stand them in the sun and every hour bless them, doing this four times.
They are then energised. I make holy water in this fashion also but leave out the salt.

Where do you feel the difference in their energy levels shameless? Is it one of those things where if you have to ask you can't tell any way?

I am new to being aware of all this energy stuff. It's a brand spankin' new concept for me:p hee I come from the main stream, we are all desensitised there and taught to mock what can't be seen...unless it is God...cause god is different.

It's all from GOD, the energy source we all draw from. It's being in tune with the vibrational flow of the univese. It's like how the blind 'see'.. vision sometimes impares the ability to feel whats going on around you.
I feel the vibration of the crystals best when I close my eyes and shut out destraction. Each color has a different frequency. The stronger the frequency the more ability it has to radiate or generate change in the enviroment that surrounds it.
In healing one must 'get above' the frequency of what is negitively bringing about unhealthy change in the inviroment that surrounds the being.
I also find when I am healing with crystals, that I also have to take in concideration my own inbalances and I have to first cleanse myself before I can cleanse or balance anyone else.
The Crystals to me bring a connection with the source through that frequency, it emphasizes and energizes as you release it in to the univese to come back to you perfected.

I appriciate you laying your interpretation of crystal energy out here. Did you come spontaneously and out of nowhere to understand how they felt or did some one teach you?

I am still trying to figure out how people know what colors their chakras are...I look and look without looking, but I don't see little burning balls of colors.

This week I have decided to eat only vegitables and fruits and I am hoping that will make a difference...it seems an aweful lot like the magic eye pictures and i know I am looking right at it and totaly missing it.

How do you cleanse yourself?

What a wonderful idea, to make a planetary chart. I just thought of a cool way to use or address the lanets. Use the planetary stone/gem to make the planets with or maybe just the color.

I do so hope that we may some day get to meet....until some sort of financial resolve of my overextending is worked through, I'm kind of shackled to the hollow and the job I have supporting debt solvency and community building. ...So I know you and Lynn are very happy where you are and I would love to visit but - everything remaining the same, it will take me near 40 more months to be totally solvent again and by then the hollow should be mostly built and if community has not co-alesced - well it should be sellable as a retreat and alternative techniques study. Still hope for and expect community - but live in the Now in each moment .

Crystals.... they really depend upon each person as to how they are used.
For me they have always been living entities that I take as individuals and respect our Connection the same as I try to respect all my Connections - I bow in reverence to all of creation.
I see us all as it's creators, and creating each other; mostly by how we interact.
I Love each crystal for it's uniqueness - for the separation into individuality and yet an intimate Connection to the Whole - as we all Are.
I respect most crystals I've met, more than most humans I've met.

God damn new agers - well fuck me
Age of Aquarius, here it come, ready or not - I am part of it and Seeing and treating all as if they had and have and will have a unique individual part to play, linked through our Connection to the Whole, the All, the Godhead made 1. .......Shee-it crazy hippies.

Could be the time has come to try investing in some sage again...that organic market right down the way there from you had it growing out back and i just went up and clipped a nice ass handful of it and they charged my like 3 bucks ...it was sooooo good too...to roll your own brings you that much closer to it you know..probibly still growing out there or in the greenhouses...:)i went in that place all the time good stuff. the ear candles i got there saved me when i went deaf in one ear from using those damn ear swabs they swabbed it all in my canal...you wouldn't believe how much fucking ear wax came outta my head ...it's truley a forgotten anceint practice...they feel SOOO good burning in the ear too, brings you into like a meditation plane next to a campfire...

i would think crystals and other stones are like lenses into the cosmic energy manifest on earth. the pull of cosmic bodies on the gravitational field of earth effect the "charge" of the crystal, just as the human spiritual plane has similar cycles. you synchronize yourself and feats which is really one in the same according to your knoledge of your place in precession, which is why the anceints were so concerned with this process of movement through the cosmos. because it is ever changing, but some things stay the same...
i wonder if that has any relevance to Truth whatsoever

That place is new, the year before last, so they wer'nt around when I first got this house and Andy brought me some when we went to see the lama so I am good for now. I will keep that in mind though when I run out. I love how cool that smoke is and watching it flow around the crystal Moving Cloud gave me...


I keep my eye out for planetary chart stuff but I don't think I am ready to delve just yet. Normaly when it's time things come like metal finaly in range of a magnet. I have a feeling that comes the spring after next (hee it's also when I plan on taking my Celestial navigation course) everything has it season:) and I am starting to understand the strength of the pull and how that relates to 'real' time, so i don't sweat the learning. It happens in it's own time.

kim, i didn't know you were into crystals. crystal energy is something that is drawing itself into my life and attention again, as tom of course is a jeweler and cultivates an awareness of crystals and their energies. he mainly uses them for healing. he's very sensitive to their energies, but i don't know if/how he charges them. he lets them drift in and out of his life. i have a quartz cluster he gave me by my computer here, and i am just beginning to open myself to their energies.

crystals of course come from the earth, but their energies are so...not really foreign, but kind of cosmic i guess. myself, i tend to have an easier awareness of plants and herbs, with their energies of life that go through their cycles of growth and withering and death, like human and animal energies do. if crystal energy is cyclic, the cycle is so long i can't imagine it. it seems like their just timeless.

sage is wonderful for purifying and charging crystals. i've always used cold running tap water, believe it or not, and salt, and incense smoke. i've never gotten as deep into crystal awareness as i have with herbs. but herb and crystal energy are not just compatible, often they are complimentary. it goes beyond just sage. there are some herbs and oils that have been used with specific stones for centuries. (i'll have to look up which ones, though.)

I have found with Crystal Healing, depending on which system of the body is involved using the crystal for that chakra is most beneficial, esp if you use Rose Quartz as a catilist. Adding Essential Oils and Herbs intensafies the frequency and aids in balancing the over all being.

The Essentials that go beyond the blood/brain barrier which reach the deepest human instincts. They are.

heeh, i did'nt know I was into crystals either kitty. They have shown up in my life though, asking me to acknowledge them or not. I have always thought crystal people were flakes and nutters...but now after my hipforums edumacation, I don't think I am qualified to deem people flakes, or anyone anything for that matter.

So I just accept them and do my best to be as receptive as I know how. I have one from a dear friend that I sleep with and along with my dream sheild it accompanies me and opens many doors. Spose I am like the cave man with their favorite shiney thing...I just watch it, listen and feel grateful for caretaking such a wonderful thing. Kinda crude I am sure..but I am new at this.

I wonder, mebbe I am not sensitive enough to feel frequency shifts.

i don't know if it's something that you can really train for. tom says he opened up to the energy of the crystals by handling them and being around them. i think he was introduced to crystal energy during his time with the rainbows. he says the more you handle them, the more time you spend with them, the more sensitive you become to them. and he says you can never really own a crystal. it's been around for centuries before us, and will remain centuries after we're gone. how can anyone own that?

Each crystal is individual as are the people and connections each of us make.
Pretty hard to tell people that - as you keep caring and loving them - they and you open more and more to connecting.

lol, it only took four months.





So I suppose getting to know our crystals is just like anything else.
When it's new to us it is hard to pick out distinctions, but as we grow more familiar, to the ways and habits of whichever 'things' we find ourselves connected to, it is easier to pick out the distinctions within the generalisation. A major distorter/filter being our own comfort with the process? When we get used to things happening a certain way and begin to predict the outcomes, we then influence the outcomes with our judgments. Quantum zeno afflectated.
