Hey everybody. I've looked into wicca before and found it interesting but didn't really give it much thought (me being atheist at the time) and now I'm rebroadening my spiritual horizons. Whats some good basic reading to look into the basics of wicca?

For someone starting out, i would recommend either "To Ride a Silver Broomstick" or "Teen Witch" by Silver RavenWolf. Her style is very easy to follow, and covers a wide range of topics that can be used in a coven environment, as well as by a solitary.
For a British perspective, check out Elen Hawke's "In the Circle" and "The Sacred Round." These are also introductions, but reading both sets can give you an idea of how you to utilize different styles.
It doesn't take long for everything to start sounding alike--there are tons of books out there, so flip through before you buy, to be sure you don't have 20 that say the same thing.

Phyllis Currot has a couple good books to read, her Book of Shadows book is a good intro on how she became wiccan, it's rather interesting. I don't know if you know of the magazine New Witch, it comes out every 3 months, it's an interesting read also... www.witchvox.com (http://www.witchvox.com) is a very interesting site, and you can even find out about local events and covens if you live in Canada or the USA...
