my vagina is always itchy right outside the opening and i really dont understand why. i mean i masturbate about once a day. im not really sure if that has anything to do with it but im starting ot get worried.. im a virgin so im pretty sure its not an std.. any ideas?

go to your doctor and they can check to see if it's a yeast infection or if it's something worth more concern. Your first yeast infection should be double checked by a doctor, not self-diagnosed so you know what the symptoms really are for you. They will do an examination though, just to warn you, though a nurse should be present to make sure nothing unacceptable happens. Ask if you can get the pills to treat it as well, they cost the same as the creams but aren't nearly as disgusting to deal with. You do require a prescription for the pills (diflucan or generic of it) unlike the creams though

Actually... There is also a possibility of what is called "ringworm"... No, it's not caused by some crawly worms, but it is an infection caused by the same type of fungus that causes athlethe's foot.

It is very, very common, so you should never be shamed of it even if what you've got there ends up being ringworm. I say grab a mirror and look for the signs: itchy welts that forms a red ring(s). If it IS ringworm, you should get the appropriate medication for it from your doctor. Yes, you should go to your doc for this... Though, when *I* had it last year, I fixed it via an over-the-counter medicine. I just wouldn't recommend the same method since it's your vulva we're talking about and not my crotch(at the junction where the leg and the balls meet).

idk its been going on for like a month or two.. before i would get this bump right around there and it would go away in a week or so but then come back within weeks. that went away and now i just have ichyness

hmmm, bumps make it sound like somethign other than a yeast infection. I still recommend hitting up your family doctor for a quick urine test and a visual examination to make sure it's nothing too serious, and get some nice treatment for it so you don't have to deal with the itchiness anymore
