I just thought I'd put this up for everyone, in case anyone wanted to know more about STDs and safe sex and all that fun stuff. It's good to be aware. :) Check out these sites if you have any questions, concerns, or whatever.

If any of you find some additional sites that you think would be helpful, post them on here with a description.

Does anybody know any sites that list symptoms of allergic reactions, and mistaken STDs, etc. by any chance, i have been getting bumps (sorry to be so gross) on the area, but whenever i look at any STDs i don't ever have any of the symptoms except for the red bumps, so im thinking its possible it may be an allergic reaction to the soap or shampoo i use, any help? Thanks...

Peace and Love,
Dan

How do you go about asking a partner whether he or she has been recently tested for std before engaging in sexual activities?? It's such a sensitive topic.

i read on the internet that 80% of people have HPV (human papilloma virus akka genital warts), and it's an std you can get even if using a condom!

so, how can u protect yourself, if u can get it even with a use of a condom (like, skin contact etc)?

is it true? do 80% of you guys there have it? http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

anyway...
if anyone here has it -- what do you do? i mean, sex-related...
bc then when u have it, you cannot really protect the one who you sleep with from it...

wow - does this mean in a decade or so, everyone will have it???

Yeah, like 30% of women in America have HPV. I got it while using comdoms. Many times a carriers shows no symptoms and doesn't even know they have it. It sucks, no one ever told me that you could get it even with a condom. Beware! Even doctors will say it's not the worst thing you could have, but that's not how you feel when it's you.
