I have just noticed under love and sex in the kinky section there are people under age, I do not support this! people that are under age should be no part of this topic. I will no longer post here because of this. Skip you need to get this under control. There are also many pictures in there that should'nt be there for minors to see. I sugest Skip that you take time from your schedual to get this sorted out. Im out of here.

9 of your 14 posts are in love & sex, with the majority in real kinky.
Maybe it's the company you keep?
and how do you propose keeping people who accurately report their age out of these forums? It IS 13 and up with some younger ones who lied.
Soem are of age but post some dumb number in their profile..or have ben around long enough to be of age..and what country should we go by?

you see this is the problem... people feel so bad about being naked... i really just don't get why that happend... being naked is natural, not an evil. also sex is a natural act, whats the point of stopping it here? i mean if you stop it on here then the kids will just go to some porn site or something. you mean when you where a child you never experimented? and look at there sig... what a dill hole.

Personally I don't really care one way or another though the thought crosses my mind that Hip Forums may be exposing itself (no pun intended) to being shut down... but I digress as I'm no legal expert and am far too lazy to read through any legalese should it exist... and it is my understanding that the server exists outside the U.S. so that could render this paragraph moot.
This reminds me a bit of an issue at work- I have an assistant who has turned 18... he's been in the department for a year or so- starting when he was 17... and too young to be using some of the equipment. Quick reflection on the employee in question- great head on his shoulders... far more capable than many folks twice his age. OSHA wouldn't care if they were to perform an audit- they would fixate on the technicality of a "minor" operating "dangerous" machinery- nonwithstanding that this "minor" operates an approximately 4000 lb motor vehicle to get to work!
Whether machinery can be operated by a minor- whether nude photos should be viewed by a minor- opinions will vary from person to person. For someone to grow up with the fact that the human body is a thing of beauty then at 15 or 16 be confronted with someone's notion that they shouldn't have access to such images receives an education of sorts- they learn quite suddenly that nakedness is "dirty" and the salaciousness of nudity makes its debut in the young mind. I find it dryly ironic that it is "rulemongers" in our society that sometimes "educate" us that something is dirty or evil- that a nude photo is transformed from a form of individual beauty to something to sneak guilty looks at. It is the ultra-righteous right-wing mindset that, rather than protecting us from evil, acquaints us with the very evil it purports to be shielding us from.
Unfortunately it's the very ones with an exaggerated moral sense that make the rules and the nude photo issue is a moderator and administrative issue that may have to be dealt with in order to protect the site. The world is littered with 20, 30, 40, and 50+ year old rapists, pedophiles, and other elements who demonstrate with sick eloquence that maturity isn't something that magically manifests itself at 18 or 21. I've seen plenty of 15, 16, and 17 year old adults and run into more than a few 20- or 30-something children. Unfortunately many laws won't make such distinctions.
For the record, I allowed the young employee to operate the equipment (an overhead lift) a few months BEFORE his 18th birthday.... shhhhhhhhh!

Funny how tolerence and intolerance of different cultures can bend minds and mend minds... The age of consent in Mexico is twelve, the age of consent under the state constitution of South Carolina is fourteen. Choices are obviously pick a number to follow and whine about it until laws are globalized to the point where the questioning of authority would be physically impossible under such a governing body (it could go anywhere, but religious texts say that apocalypse comes after monetary globalization), or deal with it...
You could probably go on forever about this shit.

When I saw my kids reading about sex, I was happy that they were reading. Every question they asked was answered with illustrations from my Anatomy book. The youngest is now 25 oddly enough none are sex crazed killers.

Buddy, blocking kids on this forum from those threads will do nothing... At least they are conversing intelligently, rather than being some idiot jacking off all over their school computers' keyboards. If you stop them from being able to express themselves this way, they're going to just pull something out of the vast P2P network and do it that way.
Why wouldn't you just waste your complaining time on something maybe HELPFUL or signifigant, like the War on Weed or maybe about the crude oil situation? Coming to think of it, I'm glad you're off the site, and I'm glad Skip didn't change it for you, you fucking dirtbag. (I shouldn't have done that... lowered myself to your mullet-loving standards and called you a dirtbag).
Thank you for bitching, because it brings a tear of joy to my eye to know some jackass isn't going to be ruining the forums for the while to come.

Mind you people, he may just be a Mennonite (with a computer) and be ashamed that somehow pictures of his daughters without their arms covered up got on the net and he's keeping all his friends from seeing his daughter by blocking her access to the site...
Shit when I'm high my stories ramble on... SORRY!

Please also note, that HipForums is not a US website, and the images appearing in those areas do not violate the laws of the hosting jurisdiction.
Also it does not take an accont to annonymously view the images, so blocking registered members from going there would not prevent the image discovery...just as running a google image search will allow you to find the same all over the world

how stupid to blame a forum on such stupid topics, i don't see nothing wrong with it.
Even if it had some stupid age restriction like 'are you over 18' the majority of underaged would click yes, i know i would, lol.

Exactly. The fact that this person even began this thread shows that they have no forethought, nor an open mind. Even if minors ARE viewing the alleged 'pornographic' material featured in an APPROPRIATE section of this forum, it's not like they can't see the same thing on another site, or in a magazine sitting in a 7-11, or on the television in their living room. Aside from the fact that there is virtually no way to block access to this material (not in my eyes, anyhow) There is also nothing wrong with viewing it. Everyone has a body, everyone has either breasts and a vagina, or a penis and testicles, and at some point in EVERYONES life, they are going to see these things.
So, to the person that started this thread...Cram it in that puckered asshole you call a mouth, and get the hell out. :) Have a nice day.

Perhaps we should let these kids' parents control what they can and can't look at...if they are "looking at something they shouldn't", it's the parents' responsibility to monitor it...

dont tell someone that they are not right for this forum...who died and made you jesus...i can tell by your sig you think you are an extreme badass...I dunno-- the "Tallcoolone" initiated this thread withy a public posts essentially accusing Hip Forums of- through irresponsible moderation- corrupting the morals of minors by making available photos of *gasp* naked people!
I'm not necessarily commenting on his morality threshhold- that he would be offended by the public availability of nude photos and not by the open discussion of illegal drugs though I found that to be a bit odd (neither offends me) but instead of taking the issue private via PM to a mod he would make the matter a forum issue and expose it to anyone's response.
I see that Woodstock_Blazer can still limbo beneath society's bar of contrived maturity so he is one of the members whose morals the Tallcoolone would shield from the menacing nakedness found at the site. I find it somewhat appropriate that he and other younger members here would reply. I might have worded the response somewhat differently if I were in his shoes but rest assured I would have responded.
In short, he (Tallcoolone) invited the abuse, it would have been impolite to refuse.

Yea, I agree... what kind of 14-15 year old would ever in his or her life want to see a naked person? When we were young teens, we weren't curious about this at all, were we Tallcoolone? We never had porn hidden in our room, did we!!! George Dubay preaches the bible, and he also says there is no place for Porn in our world.. (or was that clinton?).
Oh well... grow up dude.. It would be more "un-normal" if a teen wasn't into this... its all part of growing up...

haha quess it sounded like that. but thats not infact true. many of my posts have shown how un-arrogant i am, and that is one of the things i hate the most, its killing the world. along with racism, angry regionists, and soulreberl51. Besides i dont like angry badasses, its all about as much happiness as you can protrude, even if you arnt happy. guess i'll work on that aliitle bit more.
btw, if he did exist and died, he died because the romans couldent accept him being different, not for ppl born years later(!) Jesus was the original hippy- different, peace orientated, kinda looked like the stereotype hippy and 'loved' everyone hes cool! after all maybe he did exist but wasent the son of god, just a misinterperated peaceman.:)

I don't know where you have been living, but TEENAGERS HAVE SEX! It may seem to you that they are children, but they are not. Not only do they have every right to go that section, it is in fact a very GOOD idea. Better to get advice from their fellow hippies who actually care about them then from their idiot teenybopper friends.

I think the idea behind this thread is CYA. Nobody wants some kid, or some kid's dumb parent going on a rant because of something sexual on the internet. Maybe you are cool, but i bet your mom isn't. I don't live with my mommy, i can say or do as i see fit. You can't and even if you do, legally you still have strings attached. Kids don't really have the same rights as adults, I learned about how unfair this was in high school.
