My Weed smells rubbish!

Hey there...I have just spent 5 months growing my first ganja plants.

I harvested them about a week ago. They look gorgeous.....are covered in crystals and smelt lovely when the plants were alive. But now when I go into my drying room it smells like hay or something!!

Its wierd.....when I harvested the plants there was enough oil on my hands to make some sqidgy and build a spliff..and it blew my mind and smelled lovely. Ive now smoked some staight but (even though its not properly dry yet) and it is certainly strong enough!! But smells like bush!

Anyone know what has happened to my lovely super skunk plants?

PS when I touch the buds or rub them they smell wonderful but not when theyre hanging.

It smells shit cos u ain't dryed it or cured it.
The smell will die down during drying & curing but the minute you put it in a grider or cut it up the smell will come back 10 fold.
DRYING=5-7 DAYS
CURING=2 OR MORE WKS (the longer the better).
Cure your bud by sealing it in an air tight container. Open the container for 5mins every day then re-seal it.
