My friend is interested in this stuff i personally am not it seems way to risky but im have trouble finding information and what it can be confused with and doseage i worry about my friend because he takes heroic doses and i dont want him to fuck him self up can you all please help me?

Well first of all it would help to specify what type of DMT your friend is trying.

Second I hope your friend has a whollllllllllllllllllllle lot of experience with psychedelics before even thinking of trying DMT.

Try the N,N DMT vault at http://www.erowid.org , and research the hell out of it before going near the stuff...
Also be 100% sure of what you are getting, as there are many forms of DMT, each with various effects.

Could you please aloborate i read the whole erowid vault already but id still like to know more. And he does have alot of expirence...but me i dont so thats why i wont even think twice about DMT i think he wants the kind thats mostly mistaken for ecstasy thats how he described it.

I'll list some forms of DMT maybe one of them will ring a bell?
4-HO-DMT (psilocybin)
5-HO-DMT
2-ME-DMT
4,5-MDO-DMT
5,6-MDO-DMT
5-MeO-DMT
5-MeS-DMT
N,N DMT

since most of those are fairly uncommon (except 4-HO-DMT), I guess we can narrow it down to either 5-MeO-DMT or N,N DMT, even those are very uncommon...

In comparison, the one with the most similar effects to MDMA is probably 5-MeO-DMT, but by a long shot...and according to TiHKaL 5-MeO-DMT isn't even active orally...

I think you should first figure out exactly what you getting, and then post back here, cause we can't really help you if we dont know what chemical your talking about, not to mention the severe effects an improperly identifyed chemical could have on you...

After you know for sure what your getting, then maybe you should worry about the actual effects experienced, health issues, and stuff like that.

The risk of fucking yourself up with DMT is pretty low as long as your smoking it. SWIM tried smoking 75mg last night and couldnt even finish. It would be pretty ahrd to overdose because after the first few hits you lose touch with reality and it is difficult to take another hit. Make sure someone is holding the pipe for you so you dont drop it and burn yourself.

What do mean by this, exactly?

Cause, my experiences with DMT have all been super-religious, spiritualy-based, the hallucinations on DMT are completely different, than any other pychedelic I have ever taken, and I ate alot of LSD and mushrooms in my day and their are no similarities what-so-ever between DMT and other pychedelics. DMT is not a drug, it was the one real sacrement of religion! I call DMT a lot of different things, its like a telephone to the universe, its like a time machine, its like being put in someone elses shoes and actually knowing what it feels like to be that person, DMT is like a mirror, it reflects what you are, if your mannor is to lie, cheat and steal from people, I can't imagine these types of people have anything but a NIGHTMARE of a time!
I'm not sure anything you said really contradicted what I said, I didn't want to get into a whole big explanation of DMT, but basically you expounded in the direction I would have. I just wanted to convey the thought to this kid that it's not anything like ecstasy or any of those kinds of things without getting wordy.

It is virtually non-existent on the streets (it's usually DET), and, like MM said, it's in a class by itself.
