Yea i dont think half a hit will do anything to you unless its a high dose also i would never do any phsycedelic and school thats begging for a bad trip

Yea if i m high on weed and alone in my room when its dark i sometimes she shit in the cornerof my eye and flip shit and hide under my covers or turn all the lights on i would just wait to buy it or buy it and store it somehow till ur parents arent home

Why just half a hit? Take like 2 or 3 on a friday night, get a couple of friends to sleep over, or go to a friends house or something. Best place would be at a house where you can leave in the middle of the night in case you get bored while trippin and you wanna go for a walk... walking is great by the way... watch the grass... it moves :-)

dude if u want to have a mild trip with little pattern visuals eat a cap of mushrooms. if u want to experience acid, take enough so u at least know what its all about. and dude don't take it at school or by yourself! why would u want to take it at school? are you planning on going around telling people "i'm on acid man"? cuz thats a bad idea. then it will get around and if u get busted on cid that will be horrifying. lsd isn't about being cool. and in your room alone? man you won't last 2 hours in their. get out of ur house, out of the city take 2 hits with a friend in the future when you have time, space, freedom and no worries. being at school or being alone your first time will give your mind EVERYTHING to worry about.

iv decided to try a half hit first. either at school or most likely in my room at night. the question is this.. if i took a half tab at 11pm, would i be "relativley" ok in the morning at around 7:30 am. and also, would i get any sleep?
anyone done this? tell me some things that relate to this but i cant think of now. like parents , smoking pot while on the half hit. anything and everything i should be aware of. thank you....
Do not take it at school, thats got to be one of the worst places you could ever drop acid. Take a whole tab, acid's pretty weak these days, a half tab will do little or possibly nothing, depending on your source. If you drop it at 11pm you should be fine by 8am depending on the strength, you may want to consider dropping at least an hour earlier so you have a bit of time to prepare yourself for the next day, because you will probably feel like shit. Also do not plan on getting any sleep. I basically did the same thing when I took acid, I dropped a tab at 8pm after smoking a bowl. Smoking beforehand is a good idea only if you arent going to get a paranoid high, I did it to take my mind off the acid and would help me relax as it hit me. Pot will also intensify the experience at the peak and will ease the comedown. The number one rule is whatever you do dont panic and to relax. If there is a chance that your parents will wake up or you may do something stupid then I'd say you better wait, also if this is your first trip you may or may not want to have a sitter, depending how prepared/stable you are mentally and if you're nervous.

If this is your first time...DO NOT do it in your room alone or at school BAD TRIP ALLY. And anyways, half a hit wont do anything to you nohows. Take LSDenlightened advice he is completely right. Whatever you do dont do it alone the first time. I did and it wasn't pretty.

thanks for all the help. but like some of you said, half a hit isnt much. iv done alot of research and iv smoked alot of weed and laced weed(pcp) in my time. so i think all should be well. iv even realised i was god once. its not like im takin a couple of hits or anything...

Some people can get away with trippin in their room alone, actually thats how i did it my first time and i was just dandy! just wait for a day where you have the next day off youll be exuasted.

wheres the fun in tripping alone? either in your room or at school. As everyone said, your very likely to have a bad trip in these situations.
Aren't you off school for the weekend?
Find a nice secluded outdoor space and trip with a friend, dose around 11am and your trip should be over by the evening (depending on the quality) giving you lots of time to make your way home and do whatever you need to do...

And you most definatly do not want to have to go to school the next day...

I've tripped alone in my room a couple of times. I just laid in my bed, with my ipod, and went with the flow:) It's okay, i prefer being with people, and not being close to any authority figures.

wheres the fun in tripping alone?I prefer tripping alone, I think other people are annoying when tripping. I also dont have to worry about anyone else doing something stupid. What ruined tripping with other people for me was my first trip on acid. After repeatedly telling him not to, my dumbass friend tried to go outside at two in the morning. He set of my security system's alarm, which is incredibly loud and shure to wake my parents up. Think of that, your first trip on anything and right in the middle of the peak it gets ruined by a dumbass friend of yours because the fucker wouldnt listen to you. Needless to say I wanted to punch him in the face.

yeah people can get annoying when you trip. its because, at least i think, their having all these ideas and sensations and they want to communicate them but its impossible. so they spend like 10 minutes trying to explain gibberish and end up going on a thousand tangents about random other shit. the best communication when you trip is without words its a smile or a pat on the back. tripping without someone though can get way more intense, because you have no one to relay your experience to no conversation to focus ur attention on. then your mind just has a field day which i would say is the best for more advanced spiritual journeys but can be way more intense. seriously i think you trip a lot harder alone. so find a friend who you have a deep connection with and really trust - someone who you are comfortable with being silent around and just enjoyin eachother's company. you don't want to come out of it with an awkward impression of a friend

I, for one, love tripping alone. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I hate tripping with other people, exactly for the reasons tumbledown and blind melon said. They add an element of paranoia to the experience because you never know how they're feeling at the moment or if they're going to do anything stupid.

a relativly mild spiritual trip where i discover my inner self. then ill take some meth the next day, no tiredness.
is lsd like weed but WAY more deeper, and "Out there" mind space, sorta thing.
more cunfusion, acute sense of hearing, stuff like that?
remember, im only going to try half a tab.

well..... personally, im not too big of a fan of trippin' by myself..... sometimes i'll get paranoid, or scared about all these insane thoughts running through my head... so, yeah, i would personally say no to the trippin' by yourself... and DONT do it at school, come on man, your eyes are gunna be all buggy!

The first time I did LSD I did one tab in my room at night. My mother was asleep and my dad was still up. After a an hour or two of milling around in my room I got bored at watching posters distort. I went downstairs and watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which is a great movie for tripping (Hunter S. Thompson is a genuis). It was a great trip and even tho my parents were around the key is to no worry and just be confident and relaxed. LSD can get people so wrapped around some little worry of their's that they totaly lose sense of REALITY. I also agree that tripping with other people can suck, but only if they can't handle it. I like tripping with people as experinced as me. A lot of people I have tripped with were not ready. Acid is not like other drugs, there is no effect that will ALWAYS come. It is not like weed, coke, drinking, speed etc (All drugs that give same effect everytime). LSD is a drug that gives you an experince that reflects what is going on in your life and the enviorment you are in. I personally can tell from your posts that you are porbably not ready for LSD. You should just relax and smoke pot for now. Save the pyschadelics for when your older and more wise.

jerry, thats the best damn post iv read here.but surely you cant know if im ready or not to try lsd from a couple of posts iv made. iv done countless hours of research on just about every drug, iv read hundreds of lsd trip reports, read all the info and faq's on erowid, lycaem, all those drugs sites. iv gotten way to stoned way to many times. smoked weed with pcp a few times, done a bunch of other stupid shit. but now im ready. i have alot of respect for lsd. im only going to try a half tab. im gettin the acid this weekend now. oh, and all those times i smoked weed, they were all in my room at night with only the computer screen light on, rocking back and forth watchin fear and loathing and liquid crystal vision. iv only smoked up once with a friend. i like trippin alone way better, im used to it. so im gonna stick with it.
