I don't eat out much so when I do I want it to be an enjoyable experience. I hate being in resaurants where the table next to me has screaming children or people who are talking loudly on cell phones. Not all that crazy about folks who swear a lot during the course of their conversations either.

One place that always seems to make me happy is the Pork Store Cafe on Haight Street. http://www.sfstation.com/business.php?blId=1143

They serve up a really mean stack of blueberry pancakes/hotcakes/griddle cakes and there's usually enough diversion on the walls to keep you busy while you're waiting.

About the only thing I'm not too crazy about is the tiny toilet that's up a flight of stairs :(
