19 thinking about goin to california next week

Well, im 19 and im going thru alot of shit and need a break from life, I was thinking about transfering to california for college next year or taking a break and living there so I am trying to figure out what to do next week. I will be alone, do people know of hostels i could stay at and how long would it take me to get from San Fran to La and about how much on a bus. I don't have much money and am trying to have a crazy experience, i was even thinking about sleeping on the street. So if anyone has any ideas, or suggestions of places to go, things to do, places to stay etc... hit me up here or on aim my sn is "enthawizeguy"

personaly i like northern cali & oregon better, but i spent some time around sante crez too, generaly public transit is fairly cheap in most areas,& i know there are places ya can sleep on the beaches, & camp & stuff
but its been a few years since i was in cali, except for for the gathering there 2 years ago

have a fun wild time tho
just remember not all of cali is cool..
