Distorting The Sky

Remember you were there with I?
Distorting the sky with our eyes
The convolution of stars
An obscured reality

Thoughts we thought we ought to sought
A sound we found lying on the eiderdown
Escape.
Cotton soft I float aloft
Amongst the sunset horizon

Wait now down the stream
The wind has blown again
Close your eyes and then refrain
Fall back on the delicate fern

Soar to the moon as you croon
Singing a gentle tune
Lay away, near the may
We hope we don’t have to pray

On the rocks we rest our weary bones
Basking in the sun eating our scones
A Sky as blue as the sea
Standing next to a muffin tree
I see you in endless time
I see me in endless rhyme

The swirls in clouds our senses found
A wooly fluff ground
Not another sound
They prance, they stay
To stop and play today

Remember you were there with I?
Distorting the sky with our eyes

these lines really stood out...

'The convolution of stars
An obscured reality'

and

'Cotton soft I float aloft
Amongst the sunset horizon'

I'm floating with you :)
