This is the second week since seeds where planted, most seeds sprouted between 2 to 5 days. This is the first week that most of my 3 sprouts have been growing under 4 40 watt Cool-white fluro tubes, which seem to be working quite well for me.

1 week after above ground. maybe 1.5 weeks.

So you have 160 Watts alltogether?

That's pretty nice...you should paint the walls white if it's an option...it seem like all of your light is being wasted

And if you could somehow lower/higher the lights, you could lower them for now, and raise them as the plant grows :)

Yup 160 watts, I gotta get tin foil for the wall when I have the time. Jus transplanted them into bigger pots.

tin foil belongs on the BBQ...not in grow rooms.

white paint, white poster board or a cheap $3.00 space blanket from Wally world are all more efficient/better than tin foil.

those "cool" tubes should be as close as you can get them without touching. I didn't see a fan, ya' got a fan moving air?.just enough circulation to make the leaves "flutter" is ideal.

Yeah, the stuff that looks like tin foil is actually called, "Mylar" I think...it's really expensive.

I have a fan for it but unfortunatly I cannot have it on all the time.

wouldnt having white walls soak up the light? tin foil is better.

Beck...tin foil is NOT better. Flat white paint has about 25% higher reflective qualities than tin foil, AND won't reflect the heat as bad.
It's very simple to research, just type it in a google search. See for yourself.
