its funny, codeincaper, I love to trip, but HATED salvia...its like it almost sucked all the oxygen out of me....
i transcended the moment, dropped the pipe i was smoking it with, and then my laughter just rippled out of me into space
then i had the WORST headache....
my girl and I then encountered problems that would end in our separation...crazy..

Most definitely. A friend of mine unfortunately encountered similar complications, but only because another unexperienced friend had adminstered it to him. He was sitting indian style on a used oil drum under a fluorescent lamp with lots of people around, as soon as i saw him hittin the pipe i knew trouble was ahead. safe, dark, quiet, undisturbed enviroments are essential as well as room for personal space to lie in. yeah, my first time i was caught by surprise since there is no definite transition phase, but as soon as i felt the sensation of being whisked away metaphysically, i knew it was a good time to put down the pipe. my breath was somewhat hindered and the laughing is most to blame, but it adapted naturally during trance. plus, there's plenty people who have had that type of complication with other strong hallucinogens. you might want to start off with weaker potencies and work up, though i've shared 1g of 25x 4 ways w/ newbies under precise guidlines without problems. in fact, one of them who had mental issues felt as if he was spiritually refreshed and became more uninhibited & stable. you should check out the "Salvia Users Guide" in my sig link, pleasant visions, peace

i like those lines...but for the most part the rest of the poem seems a little forced, especially the rhyming...that's how it feels to me anyway...
