I've smoked cigarettes very occasionally for the past few years but never made it a habit. I just didn't want to commit because of the damage to my health, and the cost.
But today I got sick of being so indecisive when people ask me if I smoke, so I decided to just go for it. I bought myself a nice shiny new pack of cigs and a lighter, and I've already smoked 4 today! I'm so happy that I finally made up my mind about something.

It's not too late to just say not start. It starts a shiny new pack and then before you know it, a cough and a hack. That shiny new pack turns into a dreaded dull carton of some type of cigarette called "Unify" (cause it is the cheapest), before you know it the 4 cigarettes in your day will turn to 40 and you will start to do without things you would like to have and sacrifice even good food for your smokes.
It's not too late to change your mind even though it sounds like a happy thing to do, now. Years down the road rolling pennies and at the worst case smoking butts out of public ashtrays to get your nicotine....I know too well I have done all of these things. Sorry so Long Just think about the un-glamorous parts of it. Peace RX head

Actually, that's not a bad idea. Like I said I never really wanted to become a smoker, I was just upset with myself for being indecisive about it. That's actually great advice. Solves my dilemma.

now, joke aside, don't start smoking just becouse you bored or for company. it's very addictive and it's hell to quit after several years. i started at 16, and after couple of years i was thinking i'll cough eyes out of my head. also, lot of people think they'll smoke only 1-2 with cofee every day, but every problem or party or whatever is good ''reason'' to increase. after couple of years you're stuck with 2 packs a day. trust me, experience talking.

yeah, sometimes its better to change your mind than commit to something.

don't buy cigarettes, rolling tobacco is in the end a bit cheaper and tastes better. And not smoking is still beter at all, quit while you still can and you can also answer with the question do you smoke: 'sometimes' or just quit at all.
Really, don't be happy about deciding to smoke, I know someone else who did that and he's very very addicted now.

i dont want to get all preachy about smoking because i was a smoker 24 days ago, for about 8 years i smoked cigarretes everyday and was addicted to nicotine. dont start smoking, its really bad for your body and mind. anyway its up to you.
