Hello all,
I've been shrooming in the surrounding Houston area for years. I've missed a few seasons though, and now I have to drive an hour out of my way to find them. I heard a rumor that they put fungi-a-cide in the fields because some kid ate the worng mushrooms and died. Do you guys think that could be a reason? Also the ones that I'm finding now are different from before, but still give an awesome trip. Is there somewhere I could send pics to figure out which ones they are? Also I was thinking it was a bit late in the season for shrooms as it's pretty hot here now, but we had quite a few Sunday, anyone know how much longer they will be around? because I have tomorrow off and I want to go look again!
