Ever since I went to Shambhala this year, I've seen how thousands of people, all different and individuals in their own way, can live and get along with each other. Even though this was a 5 day music festival, I think it sort of related similarily to communes and the family life back in the past.
The vibe, the feelings I got from being there. Everything was so peaceful, enjoyable. Everyone (or at least almost everyone) got along with each other, helping each other when needed. You could be yourself without anyone caring. It was amazing, and I can't wait till next year.
But anyways, back to the real meaning of this thread. I'd like to hear how it was living like this. I'm not sure exactly how communal living worked, although I have a fair sense of what went on.
It sounded like such a simpler, easier way of living. Are there still a lot of people living like this nowadays?
Anyways, any feedback is appreciated. I'd love to hear your stories and thoughts!
Cheers
