Seriously.. are you on some kind of drugs or is there a special reason why you are kissing up? :) Ofcourse, Hipforums is absolutely awesome and since Skip is the Creator we should be thanking him for it.. and I am happy and all that he is putting so much effort in this.. but.. there are a lot of great websites.. do you let all the programmers and webdesigners know how you feel about their sites?

hehe.. geeez.. I'm just asking for your reason to this post! Maybe he did something very nice for you personally (like helping you with your own forum or sth) and you wanted to thank him for that! Could be.. right? And whhhyy do you have to generalize? Go to the Amsterdam forum or the Dutch one and you'll find a whole plethora of people there.. I'm not stating people from the US suck just because of Bush for instance.. so why would you judge a whole nation because of one post you read?

Actually... I do... If I find a website that I think is particularly great, or has awesome ______'s, then yes, I do email the designer and let them know how great I think they are...

Hehe.. no.. you're not weird, actually, I did it myself ones or twice.. it was a website that was similar to the one that my school uses (it shows your grades, your upcoming exams etc.) but they put all the information in neat graphics and tabels.. it were to young guys who came up with this and I thought it was a briljant idea, so I complimented them on their initiative etc.. it actually became a pretty nice correspondens from there for a while :)

So, I'm not saying there's anything wrong in giving sincere compliments, I was just wondering what this post was exactly about.. just curious :)

I looked at velvet's profile, and nowhere does it say that that person is a Netherlander. Having a location of the Netherlands and being a student doesn't make the person that nationality.
