The movie that is the news today and the fact that we are living in a period in human history where we are going to have to come to grips with some very serious problems.

Hey, Spaceduck,
You've actually seen "Aguirre, the Wrath of God"? You are talking about the movie about Conquistadores that was filmed in German, no? I watched the whole thing, but wasn't terribly interested by it.

i dont like historical movies
for one reason really
i feel like they impose on me a certain way of seeing whatever event or time period they are covering. like when a book is made into a movie, ruins the book if you see the movie first, you dont get a chance to create your version.
i stick to books and create my own view of history, dont need any films.

Elizabethan Period--"Elizabeth" and "Shakespeare in Love" (however inaccurate)
For every 20th Century Period--"Forrest Gump"
