About 4 years ago I was riding my bike (i ride freestyle BMX), I messed up on a trick I was doing and took a bad spill. I didn't really think of it until the next morning when i woke up and noticed that my left hamstring was extremly stiff; I got up out of my bed and a bad spasm caused me to nearly fall over. These spasms continued for another 3 months before i decided to get help. I went to many doctors and specialists who told me that I must have torn my hamstring muscle badly and that by now it would have healed with scar tissue, and as a result of that surrounding muscles had compensated for the injury causing very tight muscles in and around that area. They told me that i probably would never have the same mobility in that leg as i had ever had before.
Years past and i went to physical therapy one to two times a week, I tryed many different forms of treatment such as: electric massage therapy, accupuncture, therpeudic massage, as well as a wide range stretches and exercises. These helped to some degree, but it was true i still didnt have the same mobility as before (i could barley get my hands past my knees when i tryed to touch my toes).
Recently within the past year i have discovered method of treatment that actually works! thanks to a combination cannabis and yoga stretches i have now regained about 90% of the mobility I had lost all that time ago.
I just thought i'd share my story with you
