a visual anomaly
in sky-scapes subverted

as she twirled a parasol,
pink, flowered, and swirled,
batted blue/black lashes lured
the ego, super-ego, id,
and here in heat mirage,
the tiniest smile she concedes
evaporates, vaporizes and rises up,
where coalescing tendrils bead.

thermal ridge formation.
climatic change.
rain.

our re-hydrated hearts thundered
a lovers' syncopated throb
and we fell to the earth,
sinking into soaked ground.
a handful of hair, she pulled
with muscles tense
from passion pressure
while rivers rushed to gather
in the crevice of locked lips.

clothes peeled, and I slid
along slick leg to find fertility,
to feel her hot gasp on my neck,
to feel her arms clench from affect,
but we held to the crest,
an ocean building underneath
was awaiting release.

hydraulic motion.
dopamine crescendo.
breath of infinity.
spasm.
