someone was asking for info on lowryder the other day, this is from the guy who grew it, under one of those enviro-lights. hes growing it again so can't be bad!
as you might remember i germed 5 seeds. from them i got 4 girls and a boy. they show their sex at about a week old. i moved the boy outside to the balcony, and then about a fortnight later i moved one of the girls outside next to him. he was taller, so i trained him to grow over her so his pollen would drop directly onto her buds.
the 3 inside my grow cab did very nicely indeed. 2 grew to about 7 or 8 inches tall, and one to about 9 or 10. the smaller ones were basically a 6 inch long bud on an inch stem, and the taller one was the same amount of bud but with a couple of gaps in between.
the pair outside did really well. she was about 6 inches tall, and he was about 12. out of her i got around 30 seeds and 7 or 8 joints. her buds were small but packed with seeds.
as for yield, i didn't bother weighing, but i'm sure you know what a six-inch tall, one-inch wide bud looks like!
the smoke is good. not mind blowing, but skunky and does the job perfectly well. i like them and i'll grow more, hence the re-order arriving this morning. i've now got fifteen F1 seeds and i intend to breed again in the future so i don't have to shell out £25 every time.
