Itsa Lincoln LS...oooh man it's smoooth!! It has a button that will turn the lights on in my living room if I want it too!!

Kills me how many buttons there are!

no baloon, that's the internet picture:( I went there just intending on browsing but they are having some huge sale or something for the next four days...

heeh the cup holder is outlined in chrome, lol.

...but the smell is orgasmic! Man I loove new car smell! (real new car smell, not the goofy pine tree that says it smells like a new car)

A Lincolm! :p ...reminds me of another Zappa song

Mighty sophisticated there

....got to put bumperstickers on it or something, it's soooo mainstream ;)

That new car smell can be bought wholesale .......... a lot of work goes into the orgasmic smell :p

Say hello to me neeeew car!!

Heehee I'm freaking out...I was in tears on the way home.

It waay too nice and totaly useless aside from the really good gas mileage...but it tells me how many miles I have left till I run out of gas!! haha!!

Woooweee!! That is one sexy biatch of a car...now if I can only figure out how to change the radio stations...

What kinda car are you thinking of Marie? Good times are coming, just keep believing. I have been through some shit that I never thought would end and you just gotta keep the faith darlin', cause it does end. Nothing lasts forever...

Yay, Congatulations! You'll be cruisin; now...... :D

Question is... how's it going to look with a canoe tied to it? ;)

HoneySuckleBlue
06-17-2004, 02:56 AM
...I am forbidden to strap on a canoe, hence it's a totaly useless vehicle!!

...but the three day drive out to North Dakota is looking ever so much enjoyable now:) ...and the three back, and cruising around in the turtle mountains...sometimes there are northern lights up there:D

I can always buy a beater Jeep, I wanted one any way to take out on the beach, the salt eats up a regular driver though so it's been up in the air till now.

Vacuum up that smell and put it in an aerosal can. Wait about two years and then spray the whole can inside. Brand new car!!!:sunglasse

Guess who's driving on road trips!:p

Okay for the new car.:)

And the bumperstickers??? FUGEDABOUDID!!!

Does it have one of those Sat Nav things in it?

Hotrod Lincoln
Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen

My pappy said "Son your gonna drive me to drinkin'
If you don't stop driving that hot rod Lincoln"

Have you heard the story of the hot rod race
Where the Fords and the Lincolns were setting the pace?
Well that story is true cause I'm here to say
I was driving that model A.

It's got Lincoln motor and its really souped up
And that model A body makes it look like a pup
It's got eight cylinders, uses them all
It's got overdrive, just won't stall

It's got a four barrel carb, and dual exhaust
With four, eleven gears you can really get lost.
It's got safety tubes, but I ain't scared
Breaks are good, tires fair

Pulling out of San Pedro late one night
With the moon and the stars just shining bright
We was headed up grapevine Hill
Passing cars like they was standing still

All of a sudden, in the wink of an eye
A Cadillac sedan passed us by
I said "Boys this ones marked for me"
But by then the tail lights was all you could see

Now the fellas rid me for being behind
So I thought I'd let that Lincoln unwind
Took my foot of the gas and man alive
I shoved it on down into over drive

Wound it up to 110
My speedometer said I hit top end
My foot was glued like lead to the floor
And that's all there is, and there ain't no more

Now the boys all thought that I'd lost my sense
Those telephone poles were like a picket fence
They said "Slow down, I see spots!"
The lines on the road just looked like dots

Took a corner, side swiped a truck
Crossed my fingers just for luck
My fenders was clicking the guard rail post
The guy beside me was white as a ghost

We had smoke coming from out of the back
When I started to gain on that Cadillac
I knew I could catch him, I thought I could pass
But don't you know by then we'd be low on gas

I had flames coming from out of the side
Feel the tension, man what a ride
I said "Look out boys, I've got a license to fly"
And that Caddy pulled over and let us by

All of the sudden she started knocking
Down in the dips she started rocking
I looked in the mirror. Red lights were blinking
The cops was after my Hot Rod Lincoln - Damn

The arrested me and they put me in jail
Called my pappy to throw my bail
And he said "Son, you're going to drive me to drinkin'
If you don't stop driving that Hot Rod Lincoln" :p

I love that song and actually have it downloaded:)

Rich flipped when I said I just had to put stickers on it, lol, we compramised on one...so whatever it is We gotta make it a good one!

I don't think it has sat nav...but it looks like the cockpit of atleast a cessna in there, so it's hard to tell. I do know the wind sheild has moisture sensors so it will wipe its' self.

http://www.cars.ru/catpics/lincoln_ls_inside.jpg

Man I was reading about the car last night, cause I'd only seen the pictures online and liked it because it had the moon roof and came with a cd player and from the other choices I had at that dealership...I had no idea like you guys what it was, I just thought it was purdy.

Did you know there are Lincoln ls clubs, and the engine was modeled to compete with some kinda Jaguar...

I wonder what Rich would say to me adding some of those little fringe balls around the moon roof...and a horn that plays 'charge!!'

You were right Greg...gotta de-mainstream this vehicle pronto!!

(heeh I got up at two this morning cause I could'nt sleep thinking about it and went for a drive:D :D with the alpine stereo and all the speakers that work playing some jazz and watching the stars zoom past...oh damn, it's just too much fun!!)

It's starting to sink in...no more airing up the tire every morning...no more adding oil or anitfreeze!!! No more panic when the oil light comes on or over heating!!!

*breathes deeeply...sigh*

..am I still talking about this stoopid car, lol

What kind of jazz? I love jazz!

i am so happy for you. but no canoe, what you gonna do?

did you trade in your other one?

HoneySuckleBlue
06-17-2004, 02:36 PM
Yep I traded it in, the pile O'poo, RIch said I could just use his truck or my dad always has extra vehicles laying around I could strap on to. I drive alot so it was more important to get something that was reliable and had the options I wanted than to get it just for the canoe. There were'nt too many other cars there that I liked that had cd players and I was'nt about to get one of the SUV's.

Eventually we want to do what most people around these parts do, which is just get an old beater 4 wheel drive and rig it for surf fishing so we can drive out on the beach. Does'nt matter if it breaks down 'cause we'd never be too far from home.

I'm just posting this to save Time in a bottle...

Today we signed the paper work. Rich found out the dealers son who was doing the finance work was an MP with Rich and they were both stationed up at Fort Ritchie together when I'd first met Rich. Heehee it was funny to watch the dawning come on. The guy was like man you look familiar...and Rich was like yeah you do too...what's your name? lol, later Rich was telling our sales guy (fackin awesome guy, what a trip!) they used to call him 'Ghonorhhrea' or something up there on the mountain. The sales guy was telling us about his ex stripper 'girlfriend' and how to get cops not to harass you when your drinking at a stop light...very enlightening experience all in all.

Anyway it took them half the signing to figure out where they knew each other from:)

Todays hurdles were finding the gas tank button...figuring out how to open the trunk. Um, still can't figure out the rear view mirror adjustment thingy (remember when you could just reach out the window and at your whim adjust the damn things?)

Embarrassing moment was setting off the car alarm trying to put groceries in the trunk before unlocking the front door...still have'nt moved up to the keyless entry crap, gotta save some fun for tomorrow, heeh.

I could live in my glovebox...it's really nice in there...*makes mental note to set up Elvis black light diarama in said glove box*

~~I wanted to take this moment to thank those of you who have sent me cd's (and are reading this), it's so nice to be able to take music with me now...I'd worn out all my blues tapes.

It's a strange phenomenon how you never really notice how many people drive the car you drive till you get one...

I went and got purple floor mats with little rainbow dragon flies...they are so pretty....la~la.

(sorry gotta enjoy it while it's here!!)

Rich went nuts.

"What how come you never consult me, blah~blah~blah"

:D

It my job, heehee.

Karmic relationships are a biatch (I say this with the utmost love and respect:p )

Indeed.

Well movie time...

haha. so all right I gotta get some more cds burnin fer ya. I got Marie's package complete and jest gotta get it to the post. and I should be able to find some time somewhere to burn a few more for you....

Karmic wheelies and purple floormats..... my work here is done ;)

Gil I would love to be single, a warrior in training and to sense what you do, let's do it!! Once you're a girl you might not mind what my man would do to you :p he's pretty good at it:) . The only catch being you have to honor all of my pacts and deals with the Universe...they are binding or it all falls to hell and looses it's magic then you'll be no better off than before.

The car might pop wheelies, but first you gotta turn off the traction control...it brakes for me and even cuts power to the engine when tires start spinning....it was impossible to peel out with that on.

heeh, the both of you are responsible for my musical education this year. Exploring new music is really a joy!

The girls and I were thinking one of those dragonfly stickers that look sort of like stained glass would be cool up on the moonroof...

Y'all go ahead... I like being a male, it's simpler. Although females have some advantages like a more direct tie to the other side and multiple orgasms.... hmmmmmm, then again.....

Oh Oh Oh!!! I know what would sound great in there - Spyro Gyra (Jazz), Buckwheat Zydeco (Zydeco, hey!), Keb'Mo (not really sure how to classify him - beyond really good), and any and all Shadowfax (New Age but not like Yanni ~yawn~ and Inya). Oh yeah, and Yoyo Ma, cellist extrodinarie (Classics). Oh, can't forget Charlotte Church, voice of an angel (wide-ranging).

HoneySuckleBlue

Zydeco would be awesome...there is a zydeco festival I've been wanting to go to for about two years now up near Fredrick, Md at the Linganore winery....man that music is fuuun. Never really listened to any of it...but I know I like it.
