k guys. everything all set up. 100w hps on two purple kush plants. I still have 4 dro plants under the flouros. Yesterday i got a seed from my friend that he payed 70 bucks for an 1/8th holy crap. so of course hes germinated and planted it today, it will b put under the hps as well.

i had almost no problem getting the ballast to work. couple of tries and phone calls and i got it. black to black white/ground to white for future reference.

first pic is the hps. second is the flouros. third is the tallest dro plant. fourth both purple kush plants .......k now that i c it, its backwards.

Your on your way,soon tho you will get hooked and feel the neccesity to go bigger,its a addiction.Good job on the ballist and may what ya sow be reaped with a big smile.

Must be your ballast is bonded then, usually the ground and neutral are seperate- no ground on the bulb though.
Glad you got it figured out, and working allright.
Means right i got my first 150 w spot in june last year, wasn't long after and mean hooked me up with his 430... With my 175 halide I was hitting around 600. Then the 430 quit working after 6 months solid use, and i repaced it with two 600 watt hps in jan this year. By febuary I was hookin up a 1,000 w halide -and now the electric bill keeps me from getting any more lights.
