first grow need some advice

this is my first time growing, here is what i am doing please tell me if i should change anything.

one Hawian indica clone in about a 4 gallon pot with potting soil.
its been about a month the plant looks good about a foot tall maybe a little more. i have 2 20Watt floresent grow lights hanging about 2 inches off the top of the plant and have been feeding it plant food about ever 10 days.

like i said this is my first time and i am just wonding if there is anything i am doing wrong or can be doing better.

oh ya i have them on 24 hour light and plan on keeping them that way for another 2 months then setting them on a 12/12 to get them to flower.

Your on your way,but those 2 20 watters are not gonna suffice,ya need 25-35 watts per ft of HID while in veg and 50 for flower to get the most from a plant,I would recommend ya get a 430 watt son agro,give ya more then ya need and room for more should ya expand. I bet those the plant at 1 foot is already stretching from low light.Good luck
