any tips or suggestions as to what has worked best for you? I've found limited information, but am very interested in hearing about personal experiences...

I've heard of something that goes a little like this...

Sit with a clear quartz crystal point. In a power place, such as a silent open area with a slight warm breeze... Let all that is within you become one and whole, eternallly present. When you have stopped all internal dialogue, use a reflective point of the crystall so that lthe sunlight shimmers off of it, and expand your vision so that you can see everything in your field of vision, the entire 180 degrees, then in that "gaze" move the crsytal in slight twitch type movement, so that the light twinkles and shimmers, keep gazing fixedly at everything in your field of vision, and use the twinkle as a vehicle into other worlds..

Just make sure you have enough power to bring yourself back, or you might be lost forever.. It takes a complete integration of your soul to do this, because any residing "mind matter" will prevent you from becoming the light. You have to stop the world to do this.. And in metaphysics, and quantuim physics, it is that thought creates reality. So when there is no thought, the reality that is the world we create ceases to exist, and you become an open vessle to be transported into other worlds.
