Cut strips of cardboard 6" wide and staple them on the inside of the door, all 4 sides.
If you door opens the other way, staple the cardboard strips to the door frame.

you just dont want ppl that you cant rreally trust that good or you just dont want every one to know that you are growing mj in your closet, so that is what is bad with light leaks......b_O420

Well besides the security matters bought to light theres another fatal flaw with light leaks. If the light can get out of the cab, then light can get in during the off period. If this happens your asking to develop hermaphrodites. It don't matter how old or new the plant but light leaks can and will turn girls into hermies.........
Does the door open 'in' or 'out'?
How much room inside the door have you got before encroaching on the grow area?
Thanks for your replies :)
Room not Cuboard door opens inward so far the cardboard trick has worked for around the door but i didnt try it on the bottom might give it a go might stop some light but not all ill see...
a rolled up towel wouldnt work :)
Thanks again

Pawy wrapping up a towel or using cardboard is a fix but wouldn't you rather have it done satisfactory?
If I were you and I'd have a curtain inside the room that was fixed as though you'd push it aside to walk through. You can get corner shower curtain tracks that fit in bath tubs and go around you. Fix one of these up inside if the door opens in and exchange the shower curtain for a backed curtain of a dark color.
The best way is to build a lobby inside but I understand many may not want to do this. You do however, need to stop the light getting IN as well as OUT.

Get weatherseal strips for the doors, at any hardware store.;)
Hiya
The cardboard doesnt work it just ripped off the door when i closed it. I bought a weatherseal strip for it but they only work on the outside of doors not the inside.
I Dont know about this curtain idea i have to have the door there and a curtain behind it..?
Thanks

i had a really persistant light leek two years ago.i tried it all; nothing worked. it came down to me hanging a moving blanket over the door with hooks. didnt look the best but worked well.
i didnt really mind cuz when i grow its only in the cold months and nobody comes over to my house. trust no one.
