‘round and ‘round the mulberry bush

thorn in my thigh

center of attention

reach for me on high

counted my reasons

maybe not enough

shouted out retorts

never can be too tough

burned the family tree

severed my family ties

just for once

to look in your eyes

chanced my chances

morally contagious

pictures painted perfect

blank still the canvas

you’re a cold sore

left to haunt my soul

you’re half of my desire

I’m still seeking the whole

this is wonderful to read
for some reason it made me sit up to read....

i love the line.

pictures painted perfect
blank still the canvess.

how the picture of life
our world
the world
seems so full
yet may be waiting
to be painted
again and again

thank you for posting
love n peace from saff

Hmmm...finally! Everyone went posting crazy lately, but this is one of few I actually wanted to read to the end. Good job.

I liked that part because I can relate to it the most, nice nice thought in just 2 words "morally contagious", I wish I could have thought of that. peace

That was beautiful! I like it very much! You write similar to me, in the way you arrange the length and rhythm of the lines. And hey, you live 25 min away! Groovy! I love your poetry though. How long have you been writing?

I've been writting for a very long time. Maybe around 6 or so years... maybe longer. We only live 25 minutes away?! neat!
