ok, it's not a prescription, but I have a quesiton anyway
I would say I have a pretty average tolerence for things. every time I take benadryl, it lasts for a really long time. I took 2 last night at about 10 and I'm still feeling lightheaded and dizzy today (I'd say it's about 2:30 as I'm posting this)
quite strange... can anyone think of an explanation?

You probably took diphenhydramine or dimenhydrinate, right? Do you mean it's 2:30am or 2:30pm? I wouldn't recommend you use anticholinergic drugs for recreational purposes, as they become quite dangerous at greater-than-recommended doses. It's your decision, though.
But yes, they are generally long-lasting.

Benadryl is dimenhydrinate...and she only took two, which isn't exactly enough to trip...
Try switching to Benadryl 2, which is dyphenhydramine; it may work better for you. ;)

I also have some incredible tolerances for some drugs, but I can't touch antihistamines with a 10 ft pole. I am stupid for, like, 2 days afterward, and that is on a child's dose. The only time I take them is if I have accidently come in contact with shellfish or get a really bad reaction to someone's cat. Yuck, my sister lives on this stuff, I don't know how she does it.

NO. . . Benadryl is diphenhydramine. There is NO Benadryl II! Original Dramamine is diphenhydrinate (which converts to diphenhydramine in your body). Dramamine II is meclizine.
