Have done a few times yea, usually quite intresting although has been dangerous a couple of times.

To get into astral projection do you go through meditation, i know it wouldnt be the same kind of mind but just wondering on how you would get to that level you can leave your body?

Meditation isnt necessary but it helps. If you want to induce an OBE from an awake state then you have to learn to relax as deep as you can possibly go, more so than is needed to fall asleep, yet keep yourself from falling asleep at the same time. You also need to be able to keep your mind relatively quiet until your out of your body.

I've tried... can't meditate right entirely to acheive, but have come close :)

I twitch too much when trying to relax.. it takes a LOT of practice!
