the thing about bud is that you can almost always (always?) tell if you're getting good stuff by just looking at it. You can't pass schwag off as good buds to anyone who's seen good bud before. Pills, powders, blotters, liquids, etc., can have essentially the same appearance whether they're 100% pure or 1% pure. Much easier to pull a fast one...at least until the buyer actually tries the product or pulls out a tester kit.
