And this is where the talk of "raising the consciousness" of the people of Earth comes in. I know that when the phrases "raise the consciousness", "the shift", etc. are heard they are brushed off by many because they just sound like new wave b.s. from people who have their heads in the clouds.
In actuality, we must "raise the consciousness". People must "awaken". We must realize that we are in the process of eventually killing all life forms on this planet. This is a very literal call that should be made far and wide, unceasingly, far as long as it takes for us all to pull together and make the changes necessary to save ourselves.
How do we halt complacency?

depletion of resources, poisoning of the earth isn't fiction or paranoia, its fact. if the people of this planet dont act soon then it will be too late, but i believe that people are waking up to this fact and slowly but surely it can be turned around. it isnt yet too late but we do need to act and not merely talk about it or read reports. we need to change our lifestyles and how we use resources.
we need to make a difference and we need to do this now!
