Beware the Talking Lamp Posts!
Many cities in the US are installing new high tech lamposts with cameras and cellphone technology to allow communication between Big Brother and You!
Isn't that exciting? 
These lamposts will bark commands at people on the street.  They can issue alerts, capture images, listen in on conversations, zoom in and read text messages and linked up with databases can probably identify people.

I'm not worried about lamp posts. I live in a rural area where people have to pay for a security light on a telephone pole in their yard if they want light.

I heard that most of the lamp posts around here aren't grounded properly and will electrocute you if you stand in a puddle and lean against it.
