Aussie Naked Rambler Set Free
This is great.
This guy was set free, after spending 657 days locked up.
Previously, each time he was set free, the authorities lay in wait outside the prison gates just to arrest him again, repeatedly.
Finally, they changed their policy, and for the first time in years, he gets to go visit his kids.
Go, naked guy.

It's nice to know that there are still free spirits in this world.

Go him man.
The laws preventing nudity in public are absurd, it's like people have forgotten we are all animals after all, all guys have a penis and all chicks have a set of tits and a vagina, i know this, you know this, we all know this - so what's the big deal?

Amen.
This is a completely looked-over fact that affects far too many aspects of our daily "free" lives.

Stigmatizing nudity, and our own pre-concept of the naked body, by severe prohibition and condemnation of nakedness simply sets us up for a reverse-dynamic, in having an inner taboo which we tend to rail against, since it goes against our nature.
It is natural to have a body, and to facilitate shame by demonizing it doesn't help. It just makes the taboo all the more enticing. It's a real sexual turn-on when you're doing something or even thinking something that's a social "taboo", since it plays into our innate sense of freedom, and the right of every man and woman to be free.
On the other hand, there are still those who tend to think "evil thoughts" when they see a naked body, and ironically, this group is probably led by the ultra-religious, who attribute evil to the human body and it's shapes and uses. Sometimes, for their sakes (those poor, pitiful religious types), we must be tolerant and put on something to cover up our "sin".
And then, there are those of us who just aren't very pretty when uncovered.
So,,I guess you have to be flexible.
But I suspect that this "naked rambler" is not unfit to show off his parts. It's the rest of us that may be unfit to view them.

released from prison on tuesday and arrested again on friday, what a bloody shame, all he got was three days of freedom and now hes still not going to get to see his kids. whats wrong with this fucking country to constantly jail a man for standing up for his principles and just being himself!
who in this world hasnt seen a penis for fucks sake! could understand the arrest if he was going around jumping out from behind bushes and waggling it at young girls and old biddies from the wi, that then would be a public order offence, but just walking and minding his own business!! people dont have to look if they dont want to!!!
you get less time in prison for assault and rape and that is something that does affect peoples lives, but this........he just wants to be left alone to do what he wants to do, hes harming no-one!!

Why do people stand up against any unjust law or regulation?
I'm glad that he didn't cave, that would have made everything he did a waste, and made him sure to be arrested when he got outside naked next time, as he obviously would at some point.
He asserted his right, and the cops literally admitted that the law was unjust and that discretion should be used.
Wouldn't work in the US, but I'm glad that he did what he did, where hi did.
