I honestly don't care what parents or the boy decides to do in regards to circumcision. I see nothing wrong with it just as I see nothing wrong with abortion. Go ahead and hate me for it. See if I flinch

Of course they wouldn't agree. To avoid that they will spend days (or on here, like with individual, YEARS and hundreds of pages, thousands of lines of text) dancing around.

But that's what right-wing libertarian views amount to, even if they would deny it when it's phrased like that.

They want the right to trample on others, they think that their freedom extends to cutting the bodies of babies and taking the bread of the poor while they have more than they could spend in ten lifetimes. It's okay, because they worked for those things.

As your post makes no distinction, remember that not all libertarians are right-wing neocons, just the evil "libertarians" I mentioned.

It's generally like saying that slavery was about states rights (to declare black people inhuman property). WE WANT FREEDOM (to take other people's freedom).

It also usually uses a red herring and/or ad hominem attack...... someone will come back at me here and say something along the lines of "you think what we have is working yada yada blah blah", implying that I like the current situation any better.

Speaking from my limited 30 years i can offer up this little tid bit. I was cut as an infant but never baptised. What in general does that mean? My sister was baptised and all that. So was it done for religous reasons? I doubt it, at the time It was deemed for medical reasons. Such as 90% of the kids I grew up with as well. I never knew this to be such a hot topic and know with all the info and posts I've seen here it does make me question things a bit more. Thank You all for your posts. I think what Germany has started is a good thing. I would have liked having the choice over what was done to me. Peace
