Beware the Talking Lamp Posts!
Many cities in the US are installing new high tech lamposts with cameras and cellphone technology to allow communication between Big Brother and You!
Isn't that exciting? 
These lamposts will bark commands at people on the street.  They can issue alerts, capture images, listen in on conversations, zoom in and read text messages and linked up with databases can probably identify people.

Columbus has some like that also. I don't think you even need to touch the lamp post. A kid was killed last year just being on the bridge. |
