Hair was awesome, so well performed that we were all just stunned. My favorite part was the singing of "Easy To Be Hard" ... the singer just really conveyed the power of the song. But the whole thing was a real trip to see, so much going on onstage at the same time.

After work today I had to stay late for a meeting, and ran into a few coworkers that I'd not spoken with in a year or two. Nice people... both knew of my wife's long illness, but neither had gotten word that she passed away in June. It's weird when I'm there during the day. After years of overnight shift I only feel normal when the lights are out, the office is quiet, and no one is there. The longer I work graveyard shift, the more detached I feel. Woke at 8pm and was out the door in no time. Worked till a quarter till ten in the morning. Home to listen to Dead Kennedys and Johnny Cash and English Beat and the Everly Brothers and Get Smart and Gang fuckin' GREEN (the song "Flight 911" plays as I type). But I gotta sleep and then hit replay. That first few minutes after waking up is always the worst part of the day.
