I'm not an overtly religious person- I do hold some spiritual beliefs but am reluctant to adulterate them with a label that serves political purposes more than spiritual ones. I found that some perspectives offered through Buddhism to be helpful- not so much in preventing my periodic dips into lower frames of mind but in helping me snap out of it when it starts getting old. Dialogs with the right person might prove helpful- I've enjoyed some significant lifts through a particular friendship I've been fortunate enough to cultivate but I've also cultivated an unhealthy reliance on that dialog- which I am prone to. I'm confident that you're healthier in that aspect so it may be something to consider.
You're making progress... I have little doubt that you're focused on that and hope that the progress- as well as your focus on it continues.
Good luck and God bless.
Your ex-gf is good riddance. A true friend would be loyal and at your side through good times and bad. Her true colors were shown and it is best for you. I know it is easy to be at a distance, judging your situation solely by the words you write but I am just trying to help. I DO know what it's like to be in a compromised position, but you MUST be positive. Please, think good things.
