I'm apparently attractive to female cult members.
I made the mistake of experimenting with online dating a while back. My two greatest prospects both turned out to be members of two different cults. I'm deadly serious. The first was a Vietnamese woman who seemed very cool and down to earth at first and then she started to try to convert me into this Korean Christian Sect (doomsday cult) who's founder claimed to be the second coming of Christ, but who subsequently died and thus signifying the end of the world, which my very cool and down-to-earth Vietnamese friend was currently preparing for. A real shame, because we actually were having some good chats, and had quite a bit in common, but then we got on the subject of religion and that was it, that was all she wanted to talk about.
The second was a woman, slightly older than me - a music teacher and a talented musician - very cool - VERY LIBERAL and progressive and then up comes the self-help CULT SHIT again - and she's heavy into it. I make the mistake of asking her some questions about it and then that's all she want's to talk about - oh and of course wanting to recruit me.
Why is this happening? Maybe I should just roll with it. Fuck it. Join a cult. Get married, have a bunch of puppies and become the deacon of some weird ass doomsday/self-help/new age cult.
Or maybe I'll just start my own cult. A cult where people live responsibly and with high regard for the wellfare of others, a cult of empathy and kindness, a cult of non-violent, non-consumerism & non-imperialism that promotes sustainable living, ecological responsibility, gender, sexual, racial, socio-economic and cultural egalitarianism.

But seriously, you've had some shit luck with women, huh?! Don't go cult crazy...honestly, you'll lose your mind...one of my friends got tied up into that shit and she was almost on the verge of killing herself "for Christ."

She was a level-headed dancer on the road to alcohol
And I was just a soldier on my way to Montreal
Well she pressed her chest against me
About the time the juke box broke
Yeah, she gave me a peck on the back of the neck
And these are the words she spoke
Chorus:
Blow up your T.V. throw away your paper
Go to the country, build you a home
Plant a little garden, eat a lot of peaches
Try an find Jesus on your own
Well, I sat there at the table and I acted real naive
For I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve
Well, she danced around the bar room and she did the hoochy-coo
Yeah she sang her song all night long, tellin' me what to do
Repeat chorus:
Well, I was young and hungry and about to leave that place
When just as I was leavin', well she looked me in the face
I said "You must know the answer."
"She said, "No but I'll give it a try."
And to this very day we've been livin' our way
And here is the reason why
We blew up our T.V. threw away our paper
Went to the country, built us a home
Had a lot of children, fed 'em on peaches
They all found Jesus on their own
