I've been working on a set of animal totem medicine cards for a couple of months now. Mostly using my own Intuition, and information from Ted Andrews Animal Speak and Animal Wise books. good stuff there in my opinion. I also have pdf's of Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams.
however, I was working on making my own deck and trying to keep it manageable. so far it iss 67 cards, kind of on the big side but I think manageable. Also this was the year I was born. (happy coincidence). I have about 14 cards finished. Some I have drawn, others I have used pictures out of magazines whenever I come across a free magazine laying round if I happen to flip through it and see a picture I like. the rest are blank with only a name, and 2-3 basic words of what I think it represents/means.Sometimes on the back of the card I will write down a little more detailed information but not always.The cards I am making are pretty much standard playing card size i.e. 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" (roughly 6.5 cm by 8.5 cm)and fit into "game card" protector sleeves. I have varied the style of artwork on the cards I have drawn myself.
Anyways...here is my asking for help part:
Anybody interested in helping me finish making this deck ? I will post the list of cards here and in my HIP FORUMS JOURNAL and the ones I already have made. Just pick one and make it. Send me a private message telling me which one you want to do and I'll update my list. Mail it to me, I will give you my address in a private message and I'll be wonderfully delighted. If you'd like to make one for me, there is also a way to send mail without postage. I'm not even sure what the cost of a U.S. postage stamp is these days. An idea might be to make one on a postcard, I could cut it out.
Also, as far as the list of animal totem cards go, I am open for suggestions. I hate to add to many more as I like the number (67). There are 3 blank cards so I could add a couple. Or possibly change a couple. I'm flexible and bendy.
I think if someone has the computer skills to make scans of them and make a printable pdf or something we could share the decks. Just print and cut out.
anyways, that is my wacky idea for the day.
