Every week I grow a little more frightened of the way this country) the United States evolves. The past week or so some of the news I have seen is really merging into the sci-fi, you've got be kidding me spectrum.

I saw news reports on:

Sugar is bad for you and should be controlled. It causes a drug like reaction in the brain, peole get addicted to it. blah blah blah ... wtf !!! I see it as mega corporations want to sell more artificial sweetners (sweet death) and/or high fructose corn syrup. again. wtf !

Some local schools are advocating for "voluntary" drug tests for students who have pledged to "say no to drugs", live a clean life. this bothers me as I see it as conditioning and brain washing. A generation of kids growing up thinking that its ok for these kind of tests. then, more than likely since they are used to Voluntary Drug Tests, they make them MANDATORY but its no big deal because they are used to them. It's just wrong in my opinion. It's up to PARENTS to be parents and to know what there children are doing and up to, into. etc.

Day Care Fraud cost the State of Ohio hundreds of Million dollars a year. They are cracking down it, Now, every kid eligible for state funded day care gets a card so that they "clock in and out" of daycare, programs are being developed for using finger printing to "clock in and out". Again, these young kids get used to these invasive ways of being tracked and controlled. before you know it, every child that goes to a public school has to be finger printed and "clock in and out" of school... They grow up used to it, eventually every where they go they will have to use there finger print and be tracked of where they go and when and how long they were there. Eventually I see this evolving into dermal implanted tracking chips. Got to keep the Children safe and know where they are 24/7.

Some suburbs and towns around Dayton Ohio (and I imagine the rest of the country) are passing ordinances against panhandling and begging. Imposing fines and jail time for it. Some are requiring permits to be bought with detailed lists of where and when you will be panhandling/begging. EVERYONE WANTS THERE SHARE! . . . Do something constructive to help the hungry, homeless, (or houseless). I suppose, during cold Ohio winters getting arrested and 30, 60 or 90 days in jail wouldn't be so bad, warmth, a bed and food, health care and all sorts of benefits.

All of this bother mes as soon I need a go and get an ID again, I'm currently ID - less, (not to be confused with idealess). but yea, I'm not looking forward to being back in the system but current situation is kind of requiring it. Get back on my feet, jump through some hoops for help with food and a warm place to stay, make some money then back on the road again for me.

I'm thinking maybe a bike with a small trailer to carry my crap in for awhile.

Visit the world while I still can.

Winters are depressing.
