---From my crafting blog--- this is an idea / instructions for barefoot sandals.
I recently was looking around on the internet and came across this add for barefoot sandals. I really really like the idea, I get the basics but I'd like to do it with hemp, possible crochet them eventually. But anyway here's the post that turned me on to the idea their very cute:
Those are crocheted but I do not know how to at the current time. So I've been scoping out tutorials. I once crocheted myself a scarf but it was so long ago. So these are the tutorials I am looking at:
I'm pretty good at visualizing things and I'd like to replicate the first links (kiwi green one) but do it with a hemp spiral. I think that would be really cute.

I've been slowly getting to this project because I want to do it correctly the first time around. Plus I am doing it my own way, I'm not crocheting them, I'm making it with hemp, spiral knot. I really like the first image of the green pair of sandals (in first post), I like how they have dangle beads by the ankle. So i have been making beads for my pair that will dangle like that. I'm almost done making those beads so I will probably get started on my straps in a little bit. I still need to figure out a center bead. I have an idea of what I want to use, and I can get it from hobby lobby when I get to that point. So yay! I'm getting closer I will post instructions for what I did once completed! I hope to be done by the end of the week.
