Dazed and Confused.... or Half Baked, even though I didn't watch the whole thing I listened from the other room and it was still funny.... I also like this one Tommy Chong movie the "Far Out Man." Well, at least the beginning... the rest is kinda stupid but then again I never smoke anything or do any drugs of any kind of even drink so maybe it IS all funny if you're anything but sober....
And of course the smurfs... or the snorks.... or pink panther.... those cartoons rocked and they should still be on.... not these stupid new cartoons....
Harold and Kumar, I have to say, wins my vote hands down! I saw that movie two weeks ago, and that is perhaps the only stoner movie I've watched over and over again since I saw Half Baked in 8th grade! Damnit.... I've never been to a white castle... but down in the south we have krystal's which looks the same to me... I'd go for either right about now... To tell you the truth, I find Dazed and Confused to be a little boring. I'm watching Harold and Kumar right now. I freaking love them... and Cheech and Chong. Minority stoner movies, aha. CONGRATULATIONS! You two have just paid to have your scene/sense of humour manipulated in order to trick you into thinking paying to watch a 2 hour advertisement is a good idea! harold and kumar was funny! it doesn't matter if it's the epitome of stoner exploitation! you don't care, you're far too stoned! dazed and confused was pretty good, but it was a bit slow at points, and didn't seem to have much of a plot, more of just alot of individual scenes that evoke the reminiscence of being in similar situations, and evoke those classic stoned philosophic quasi-revelations. my votes go for hair up in smoke fear and loathing where the buffalo roam grass
Based on the first couple responses I'm going to watch Dazed and Confused. This kind of communication is kind of laborious, typing to others over wires and waiting. Why can't each of us have a virtual reality helmet that links us more closely, like we were all standing around a campfire. Wouldn't that be the nuts as far as electronics goes?
