both... heavy days i use both at the same time, and then i switch it up depending on how i'm feeling and how "clean" i want to feel....
I'd wear tampons if I could even get them in... my flow is always so light it's like sticking a piece of bark up there. I could use lube, but that's just too much work.
when I had my peroid I wore tampons. I didn't like them that much though. they get smelly really quick but pads were too bulky so I went with tampons
I used to wear tampons when i was younger, they were comfortable but I was too scared of forgetting i had one in...besides the pulling out is not really nice...ouch! i wear pads, even though they give me a rash after two days...but at least i know i'm safe.
I use pads because tampons tend to freak me out. Oh and has anyone ever read that warning about Toxic shock syndrom? what I don't get is the one little fact about guys getting it because it clearly says: Toxic Shock Syndrom from the Use of Tampons at the top.
I use tampons, pads smell and feel nasty. TTS is very rare and only a danger if you leave them in too long.
tampons at day, pads at night...but don't like using pads, like someone said, it's like wearing a nappy, ugh.
Toxic Shock Syndrome is caused by certain bacteria getting into your system thru anything from a minor abrasion (which can be caused by a tampon that is not fully saturated when being pulled out) to a major open wound. So, there are cases where people have gotten TSS from the bandage used on a wound, which is why they include cases males have had, as part of the total number of cases... TSS tends to be related to using too high absorbance tampons for your flow -- it soaks up all fluid, so that when you pull it out, there's not enuf lubrication, causing abrasions... If the next tampon has the right bacteria, you've just opened the door for them! So, ladies, it should never hurt to remove a tampon. I'm betting plenty of regular tampon users have had the experience of needing to remove it earlier than expected, before it's fully saturated, which hurts like hell! But, except for those rare occasions, if it hurts, then you are either using too high of an absorbancy or flowing too lightly to safely use a tampon!
I like pads better as tampons seem to make me paranoid for some reason, but i still like usuing tampons better then pads tho, they're easier to carry in you bag.
Pads, I'm scared to death of using tampons! I don't want to be stickin' any bleached piece of carboard up there!
I don't like using tampons really, so I usually use pads, but when it's really warm in summer the pads feel uncomfortable & will sometimes chafe so then I use tampons.
I get too many yeast infections if I use tampons. I never use them anymore. Pads aren't "Nasty" that is the way your menstrual blood is SUPPOSED to smell. People have odors. As do their emissions. Bathe regularly, and there is nothing "nasty" about menstrual blood. You have only been conditioned to think so.
