Why Do Minorities Always Riot?

That minorities always riot is an insinuation in itself which is untrue.

The zoroastrians of Iran came to India as refugees after the Arab invasion of Iran in the 8th century a.d. The Zoroastrians were allowed by the Hindu kings to settle down in India with freedom of religion , and as a minority they have never indulged in a riot in India for the last 12 centuries . Instead they have provided sterling service to their adopted country through distinguished persons like J.R.D. Tata, Dadabhai Naoroji, Homi Bhaba.

Similarly with the Jews who came to India as refugees due to roman persecution, and with the bahais as well.

And depending on the issue an individual can be part of 'the' (or better said a, as what makes up the majority differs per issue) majority one time and fit in and identify with a minority the other. Not because they choose to, mind you, but because they happen to be part of it because of their principles, convictions etc. etc. (which if all is right is not ony based on affiliation, or being part of a certain group, like some kind of prevailing majority , but also to at least a certain extent unbiased thought and maybe even some comprehension based on empathy.)

 

They riot because their kids are starving to death and their wife is starving to death while she is watch her children die of starvation. LOL. You are rich by comparison. You punks.

That happens all over the world indeed, but it does not seem to be a privilege of minorities. In some countries the majority is poor and struggling and even if only a part of that crowd is rioting it is still a part that belongs to the majority (or maybe a very big minority, to such an extent it does not really serve them right to be put away as some little minority)

 

rioting is a cultural thing, but it isn't about being a minority. i think jfk explained it pretty well when he said that when peaceful means are unavailable ...
we might like to assume they are for everyone, but really, its just not always the case that they are,
so people get angry and frustrated, especially when constantly provoked, which when we're fortunate ourselves, its easy to hide from ourselves that they are.

 

You have the question backwards, it should be, "Why do white people always stomp on minorities even committing genocide on Native Americans and violating every treaty they ever signed?"

 

Minorities riot because they have reason to, and non-minorities riot because they disagree with the injustices that are carried out against said minorities.
